1. How has gymnastics impacted you as a person?
Gymnastics has taught me how to never give up and to always put in your best effort. It has also taught me that your performance is not all that matters.
2. What are your academic aspirations?
My goal is to get my masters in education, and my major is elementary education at the University of Minnesota-twin cities
3. What are you most looking forward to after graduation?
I am most looking forward to moving into my apartment with my best friend Maren !
4. What is your favorite gymnastics event and why?
My favorite event is floor because it is fun to compete I love being able to look at my teammates and smile and hear them cheering it makes it so much fun to compete.
5. If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
I would want to be able to teleport because then I could visit any of my friends and family at any time. I would love to be able to come visit everyone everyday

  • ✨ This week, we're celebrating the amazing Anna! ✨As she graduates, we reflect on her incredible journey at Classic. Her passion and spirit have been a true gift to our gym family.

From Coach Meghan:
Anna has been such a joy to coach! Her infectious energy and light will surely be missed! She is hard-working, determined and we cannot wait to watch her shine as a BluGold next year!

Get to know Anna:
What has been your most challenging moment in gymnastics, and how did you overcome it?
I would say having two major injuries within two years. I tore the same MCL twice- a major ligament in your knee- during their respective summers. They were both devastating injuries and they pushed me to my mental and physical limits. Everyone that helped me through those extremely rough times are the reason I was able to push and make it out on top!

How has gymnastics impacted you as a person?
It has truly shaped me as a human being. Gymnastics has not only taught me how to do cool tricks. But it’s taught me to work through whatever is thrown at you. It most definitely will not be easy but all that matters is how you get yourself through those times and things will fall the way they are supposed to!

What advice would you give to younger gymnasts?
There is so much to be said, but work through hard times. It definitely feels stressful and scary to keep pushing, but you know yourself the best. Trust yourself and the decisions you make- things will work out. Also do not miss out on the lifelong bonds you make, your teammates and coaches are the most amazing people ever!

Do you plan to continue gymnastics in college or beyond?
Yes, Next year I will be attending UW-Eau Claire, and I will be apart of the team there!

What is your favorite gymnastics event and why?
I’d say beam or bars, it took me a while to feel comfortable on those events, but I put a lot of work into them and now I’m happy to say they feel natural.

Congrats on everything you’ve accomplished, Anna! Best of luck in your future endeavors!
